The Full Story

Here's everthing I loved doing outside my academics, research and work 

Born in Chennai, India. Recently moved to the City of Bridges. I've lived in different cities across India. I love the beaches and the humidity in Chennai! Growing up, I have had different ambitions ranging from becoming a poet, scientist, civil servant to finally becoming an engineer. Here's a list of activities I do outside my mainstream work which keeps my soul alive.

Student Convenor

  • Head Coordinator of National-level Intercollegiate Technical and Cultural Fests

  • Led organizing committee of over 200 students and oversaw 30+ student clubs

  • Responsibilities included managing finances, registrations, website design and publicity, converting to footfall of 30,000 students with a budget of 30 Lakhs INR.

Volunteering

  • I have mentored a bunch of 10-12 High School Girls as part of a Life Influencing Functional Training (LIFT) Program conducted by U&I Organisation

  • Involved in multiple social service activities, including Library Inventory, Voting Registration for Tamil Nadu State Elections , Campus Cleaning, and Teaching activities for underprivileged school children.

Placement Coordinator 

  • Served as a medium between 500+ companies and 1000+ students to help smoothen the placement processes.

  • Frequently conducted sessions to mentor the juniors and prepare them for the placement season

Chief Editor of Dept Newsletter

  • Published 6 editions of the Electrical and Electronics Department’s Technical Newsletter. (Jan 2020 -  April 2021)

  • Mentored a 20-member team and documented the records of scholarly articles, events and achievements.​

Deputy Secretary General - SSNMUN

  • Head of a National-level Model United Nations Conference for students and working professionals.

  • Supervised the Finance, Sponsorship, Publicity, Logistics, Technical Aspects, and Hospitality of
    over 500 delegates from national and international institutes.

Debating at Citi

  • Communicated with senior employees to allot judges and coordinated with teams

  • Curated topics for debate competitions spanning days and moderated the events.

Junior Wing National Cadet Corps

  • Corporal Ranked A Certificate Holder. Part of 1 TN Girls battalion.​

  • Attended camps where I was given drill & gun training and introduction to armed forces.
